AFC Entity Radar › Sanctions check
Free sanctions check (OFAC, EU, UN, UK)
Screen any name against 18 official sanctions, terrorist, wanted and debarment lists, refreshed every 6 hours. Fuzzy matching finds spelling variants and transliterations; strong matches (≥ 92 %) are separated from possible matches.
Lists included
UN Security Council, US OFAC SDN and consolidated, EU financial sanctions, UK sanctions and proscribed organisations, Switzerland SECO, Canada, Australia, Pakistan NACTA, UAE and India terrorist lists, Interpol red notices, FBI and UK NCA most wanted, World Bank debarment and Pakistan parliament PEP lists. See the full list with sizes on the sanctions lists page.
How to read a sanctions match
- Strong match (≥ 92 %): name very similar — compare date of birth, nationality and identifiers immediately.
- Possible match (84–92 %): often a different person; check the details before clearing.
- Enter birth year and country to reduce false positives automatically.
Why sanctions screening matters
Dealing with a sanctioned person or company can lead to criminal penalties, fines and frozen funds. EU and UK rules prohibit making funds available to designated persons; OFAC applies the 50 % rule to companies owned by sanctioned parties.
