AFC Entity Radar › Legal entity search

Legal entity search and company screening

Search any legal entity — a company, partnership, foundation, trust or person — and see in seconds whether it appears on sanctions lists, PEP lists, wanted or debarment lists, in offshore leaks or in negative news. Free for personal, research and non-profit use.

What the entity search checks

How to run a legal entity search

Type the company name exactly as registered, for example ABC Trading GmbH, Rosneft or Korea United Development Bank. Choose “Company / organisation” and, if you know it, the country. The tool normalises legal forms (GmbH, Ltd, LLC, SA, AG), spelling variants and transliterations, so you do not need the exact spelling.

Who uses it

Compliance and KYC teams onboarding business customers (KYB), financial crime investigators (FCIU, FCO), procurement and third-party risk teams, auditors, journalists and researchers.

Entity search vs. company register

A company register tells you that an entity exists. An AFC entity search tells you whether it is risky: sanctioned, linked to politically exposed persons, named in leaks or in the news. Use both: verify the registration number in the official register, then screen the entity and its directors here.
